Principles of Personal Data Protection

​PARAMO, joint-stock company, Co. Reg. No.: 48173355, with registered office at Přerovská 560, 530 06 Pardubice, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Hradec Králové, Section B, Insert 992 (hereinafter referred to as "PARAMO"), declares that all personal data processed is considered strictly confidential and treated in accordance with the applicable legal regulations on personal data protection. For PARAMO the security of your personal data is a priority. PARAMO is a member of the ORLEN UNIPETROL Group.


PARAMO is, within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the 27. April 2016 on the protection of private individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on free movement of such data and the repealing of Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as "GDPR"), your personal data administrator, i.e. it collects, stores and otherwise processes your personal data for the performance of its business activities (the individual purposes for which personal data is processed are further defined below). 


In order to ensure a smooth communication between you and PARAMO, a Data Protection Officer has been appointed, available to you in case of any questions or inconsistencies concerning the processing of your personal data at or by mail at the correspondence address ORLEN UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o., Odbor ochrany osobních údajů (Personal Data Protection Dept.), Milevská 2095/5, 140 00, Prague 4. 


This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data collected by PARAMO during your use of the internet website (hereinafter referred to as the "Internet Website") and furthermore based on the following facts:


  • performance of the contract between yourself and PARAMO;

  • meeting of legal obligations;

  • the legitimate interest of the Group or of any company from the ORLEN Unipetrol Group.


Personal data may have been obtained through the Internet Website, or for example in the course of purchase of ORLEN UNIPETROL products or use of ORLEN UNIPETROL services. This policy does not apply to the purchase of goods via internet website

The Privacy Policy describes the purposes of personal data processing, the ways in which the personal data is used, provides information on the individual categories of the personal data processed, the categories of personal data recipients, the personal data retention period and your rights in relation to the personal data protection.




PARAMO may process your personal data mainly for the following purposes:

  • Performance of the contractual relationship (for example when entering into a purchase contract or a service contract);

  • Accounting and tax purposes (fulfilment of legal obligations within the meaning of accounting and tax legislation);

  • Compliance with other legal obligations (other legal obligations observed by PARAMO include, e.g. the provision of information to authorities active in criminal proceedings, or other public authorities);

  • Safety and security (use of a CCTV system within the company premises for security purposes);

  • Communication with questioners (questioners contacting PARAMO via email, postal address or other means);

  • Recruitment (implementation of selection procedures to fill vacancies).




PARAMO is authorised to process the following personal data according to the purpose for which it has obtained it from the individual data subjects:

At PARAMO, personal data is processed both manually as well as in an automated manner. Automated personal data processing takes place for the purpose of performance of the contractual relationship with yourself, in particular to implement internal processes within PARAMO and our contractors.

If you take a part in the first round of a selection procedure, you may be asked to grant your consent to your personal data processing for the purpose of verifying or obtaining references from your previous employers, public sources and public registers of legal and natural entities to verify veracity of the information you have provided and to avoid conflicts of interest with the activities of ORLEN Unipetrol.




At PARAMO, your personal data is only made available to authorised personnel, or individual processors and personal data administrators of PARAMO, doing so only to the extent necessary to meet the given purpose of the processing. However, as regards such recipients, your personal data security is safeguarded by their contractual obligations.


List of categories of personal data recipients:

  • Government authorities, e.g. the Tax Office, the Czech Social Security Administration;

  • Insurance companies;

  • PKN ORLEN holding providing IT support for the personal data processing system;

  • Czech Statistical Office in an anonymised form;

  • The company providing surveillance and security of the company premises, HR processes, IT services;

  • External auditors;

  • Companies belonging to the ORLEN UNIPETROL Group based on a Service Level Agreement (SLA).


Under certain conditions, we are also authorised to transmit some of your personal data under the applicable legislation, such as to authorities active in criminal proceedings and other public authorities.

As a member of the ORLEN Group, PARAMO uses IT system consolidation and your personal data is stored on servers in Poland. PARAMO does not transmit personal data outside the EU, the EEA or to international organisations.




We process and retain your personal data for as long as is strictly necessary to ensure all rights and obligations arising from the applicable contractual relationship and for as long as PARAMO is required to retain personal data as a personal data administrator under the generally binding legal regulations. In other cases, the processing time follows from the purpose of the processing or it is determined.

We process personal data according to the purpose of its processing for the following periods:

Communication with questioners ​for a period of 1 year from termination of mutual interaction with the questioner
Recruitment ​for a period of 6 months from termination of a selection procedure for a given post

Upon expiry of the retention period, PARAMO will dispose of the personal data.




You have the following rights in conjunction with personal data processing:


1. Right of access to personal data

With regard to the personal data processing, you have the right, upon your request, to be provided with information and t be provided with a copy of your personal data processed. In the event of repeated requests, PARAMO will be entitled to charge a reasonable fee for a copy of the personal data provided. We would inform you of such a procedure.


2. The right to a correction

If you believe that the personal data we process is inaccurate, not up to date or otherwise incorrect, please contact us and we will correct it. We will make the correction without undue delay, but always with regard to the technical options.


3. The right to erasure

If your personal data is no longer necessary to ensure the intended purpose, or if one of the other GDPR conditions is met, we will delete the personal data at your request. However, in some cases your right is restricted. For example, personal data which we process based on our legal obligations cannot be erased before the statutory retention period expires. Or, in the case of personal data relating to the provision of services, the data cannot be deleted before expiry of time limits for any potential claims (clams for compensation of damage, complaints, etc.).


4. The right to restrict personal data processing

You have the right to restrict processing of personal data if:

  • the personal data we process is inaccurate;

  • the processing is unlawful;

  • the personal data is no longer needed, but you need it to determine, make or defend a legal claim;

  • you have submitted an objection to the processing.


While the restriction is in effect, your personal data shall only be retained by us and shall not be processed without your consent. Processing restrictions continue for as long as one of the above situations applies. You shall be notified of any termination of the restriction.


5. The right to raise an objection

You may submit a justified objection to the processing based on a legitimate interest and in respect of direct marketing. The validity of the objection shall be assessed and you will be informed of the decision by means of a contact of your choice.


6. The right to data transferability

If you want PARAMO to pass your personal data to a third party, you can exercise your right to transferability of your personal data. In the event that the exercise of this right would affect the rights and freedoms of third parties, PARAMO shall not be able to comply with your request.


7. The right to withdraw of consent to the processing of personal data

In case of processing of personal data based on your consent, you may withdraw this consent at any time. If you wish to do so, please contact us with your request through the contact details of the Data Protection Officer listed below.


8. The right not to be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the framework of our activities.


9. The right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority

If you feel that your personal data is not treated in accordance with law, you have the right to file your reasoned complaint with the Data Protection Office based at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic.

We want to stay connected and share our activities with you through social media profiles such as Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. Our website does not use social plugins, but merely refers to our profiles on social networks, which may contain photos and videos from various events we have organized.
