Pardubice, November 1 st, 2010 – Paramo has obtained a two-year contract for supplying diesel fuel to the Road Management and Maintenance Authorities of theHradec Králové District. The client shall pay approximately 15 million Czech crowns for the supplies.

The contract has been concluded for two years and during this time the Pardubice Refinery will supply the Road Management and Maintenance Authorities (SÚS) of theHradec Králové District with approximately 500,000 liters of diesel fuel.

The Pardubice Refinery had supplied SÚS of theHradec Králové District with fuels already in the past. "We are coming back to this customer after a two-year interruption. Paramo has acquired the order in a public tender, in which two companies participated. SÚS of theHradec Králové District is an important client of Paramo not only with regard to the diesel fuel but also when it comes to road emulsions, which we have been selling to the client for a long time," says Mr. Vojtěch Marek, manager of the Paramo's Fuel Sales Department.

Paramo also supplies diesel fuel to other important customers, for example, Czech Railways, Transport Authorities of Pardubice and Hradec Králové and SÚS of the Pardubice District. "The Fuel Sales Department is striving to acquire paying end customers," concludes Mr. Vojtěch Marek.

PARAMO, a.s., a member of the UNIPETROL/PKN ORLEN group, processes crude oil into refinery and asphalt products and produces lubricating and process oils, including follow-up and auxiliary products,. The refinery also purchases and processes oil hydrogenates and hydrocrackates. The intermediate products are used by the refinery to produce base and lubricating oils with very low sulfur contents. The company employs 687 people.
