The Pardubice refinery supported the Svítání Transit Programme, the objective of which is to obtain and develop client skills leading to their integration into society in the sphere of work skills
Pardubice, 17.6. 2010 – The Pardubice refinery supported the Svítání Basic School and
Practical School in its efforts to enable clients with mental and combined disabilities to acquire
skills within the scope of common work processes, thereby leading to independence and integration
into society.
Unknown dilemmas did not discourage the company Paramo. On the contrary! It found a solution
for lending a helping hand. It supported the Svítání Transit Programme, the objective of which is
to obtain and develop client skills leading to their integration into society in the sphere of work
skills.
At present, Svítání client Petra Říhová is easing administrative activities at Paramo by
always helping out for four hours once a week and she is doing very well at it. At the beginning of
May, following her commencement, the school expert assisted her in adapting to the new environment.
Now she manages her work in the company secretariat and archive alone. Employment at Paramo is a
welcome change for Petra. “I am grateful for the opportunity to work. I like it here, I am truly
satisfied,” admits Petra.
The Pardubice refinery did not look for reasons as to why something should not work out. The
Principal of Svítání’s school Miluše Horská values the work opportunity provided to the school’s
client as follows: “Thank you for your incredible deed. Svítání, we sincerely appreciate that the
management of a company of this size and magnitude is spontaneously interested in the dilemmas of
life of the neediest.”
