Paramo fulfils obligations required by law

07-11-2011

The Pardubice refinery maintains a high level of prevention of serious disasters. The correct configuration of its mechanisms has been approved by an integrated inspection.

Pardubice, 7th November 2011 – The inspection of the obligations required by law with respect to preventing serious disasters, which occurred at Paramo on 2nd and 3rd November and focused on energy operations, was successful.

Energy operations were checked in the integrated inspection not only from the perspective of fulfilling obligations with respect to preventing serious disasters, but also of environmental protection, work safety and fire protection. The regional sanitary station has checked adherence to valid legislature in advance, on 1st November 2011.

"Paramo keeps a high level of prevention of severe disasters in the same extent as was set in the past. Partial discrepancies and recommendations are resolved in the designated deadlines," stated Eva Laštovičková, head of the environmental department of the Pardubice refinery.
